Michelle Davidson, children’s minister, advocate for children and families

Michelle has over 30 years in Children’s Ministry experience both inside and outside the walls of the church. But more importantly, she has a passion-filled vision to see children spiritually thrive and families restored so that together, they can live out God’s purpose in this world. She is fully aware that children and families are under great attack and wants to empower them to walk out their faith in joy, peace and purpose.

Michelle understands the pain of abuse and the journey it takes to overcome childhood trauma. She experienced alcoholism in her home and was a victim of sexual abuse, but has seen the mighty hand of God redeem and restore. Through Christ, years of bondage in her family have been broken. She is continuing to learn and live out what it means to truly walk in forgiveness and freedom in all areas of her life and desires to help others do the same.

Her and her husband, Tommy, have been married for 33 years and have two married children, three precious granddaughters, one handsome grandson and another on the way. They live in a small, rural town in Texas on 17 acres with cows and a dog named Grace. Michelle enjoys quiet moments with the Lord, being a “Nonna”, being with her family, teaching children about Jesus, exercising and a good ‘ole Sunday afternoon nap!
